What is it about?

An integrated approach between the three main disciplines that make up Archaeobotany has allowed us to reconstruct the management of plant resources and land uses by human groups during two periods of recent prehistory in the spanish central Plateau: Late Bronze and Second Iron ages respectively

Why is it important?

This is the fisrt integrated archaeobotanical study carried out in this area of central Spain. It shows important social and cultural changes that justify the way of managing plant resources for the supply and demand of a growing population.

Perspectives

This integrative approach opens up new perspectives to study other sites in this area and adjacent areas establishing comparisons between them
