What is it about?
In light of this literature, based on the hypothesis that the treatment model of therapeutic pulsed ultrasound (TPU) and vitamin C, which is known to be an antioxidant, and selenium on blood muscle tissue can be successful, this study was the first attempt to investigate the effects of these applications in the retrospective repair of experimental muscle injury in rats.

Why is it important?
In conclusion, this current study has shown that in addition to ultrasound therapy, treatments with vitamin C and selenium are also helpful in muscle injuries. Therefore, considering the results of this study, it can be said that the level of injured muscle tissue improved significantly within 6 days.
