it is very important to be able to control biofilm formation and growth. In this chapter paper, we describe future trends for the research and applications of biofilms and the types of results that we can expect.
Perspectives
If we could get more detailed information about biofilms through further investigations, we could control biofilms on the negative side and find more appropriate applications. The role for which materials science and engineering will play is important.
