What is it about?
In order to achieve the optimum performance of the 3D printed parts, the Taguchi method was employed because it is a simplified yet powerful method for experimental design using the orthogonal array method.

Why is it important?
Our finding demonstrate that the better surface roughness (Ra) of printed parts by Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) machine that can be optimized by using Taguchi method and the outcomes of this study might be used as reference for other researchers.
