What is it about?
As already described, environmentally friendly surface finishing is presently very important and the requirement will be become much more important i the future. This is because we are facing a serious environmental crisis in nature as well as the severe environmental politics i industries. We have to balance them and find a new and better way for the future. In this chapter paper, we describe what environmentally friendly surface finishing is. Also we classify this process the into some cases. Particularly in this paper, the authors focus o Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and explain its concept.

Why is it important?
Nowadays, sustainable developments are very important. United Nation established the goal for sustainable development. (SDGs). In all scientific, engineering and industrial development, sustainability is the most important and this notion is related closely to environmental friendliness. All of the advanced technology should be investigated also from this approach.
Perspectives
I believe all engineering research and development should be approached not only from their functionalities, but also from environmental friendliness.
