Sy Banerjee - Carrying the Mobile Mantle
Under the direction of Professor Ruby Roy Dholakia, Syagnik "Sy" Banerjee commenced some very innovative work on issues of mobility and ubiquity during his doctoral days at the University of Rhode Island (URI). Now on the faculty of U. Michigan (Flint) and also affiliated with Medill School at Northwestern University, Sy is emerging as the key bearer of the mantle on mobile commerce research that got its start at URI.
