What is it about?

Improving math skills from seniors by establishing a collaboration between college students and the elderly with the internet/Cloud. Dyscalculia complicates the use of numbers, performing calculations and applying math in real life (math dyslexia). This type of collaborative environment helps to develop three important aspects: to empower the elderly, build an intergenerational bridge, and promote modern technologies among senior citizens.

Perspectives

Low math illiteracy hinders several aspects of the life of senior citizens. Particularly in terms of healthcare. On the other hand, youngsters are too self-centered and anxious nowadays. The authors believe both groups have a lot to learn about life, the internet and cloud computing.
