What is it about?
Transcription factors and RNA-binding proteins are among the major classes of regulatory proteins influencing gene expression patterns. These regulatory proteins may interact with/influence each other, thereby adding additional layers of regulation of the downstream genes. The present study aimed at identifying such regulatory inter-connections affecting adult hippocampal neurogenesis (AHN) in mice using computational methods.

Why is it important?
Understanding the complex molecular cross-talk would be important for a holistic understanding of the molecular basis of AHN.
