What is it about?

The Metal-Organic Framework materials are porous, which is easily to adsorb molecules. This is important and necessary for catalysis, gas separation, and drug delivery. But what's the limitation on the molecules adsorbing? Can the MOFs adsorb molecules unlimitedly? This paper takes the Cu-BTC as an example to investigate the size limitation of molecule adsorption.

Why is it important?

Our findings suggest the adsorption is limited by the size of the adsorbed molecules and pores.
