What is it about?
Performance simulation and optimization of new radiant floor heating based on micro heat pipe array. The MHPA is composed of multiple independent small channels. The porous channels are connected in parallel in order to increase the specific surface area, and use the internal phase change of the heat transfer to improve heat transfer efficiency. The results from a large number of experimental studies indicate that the maximum heat flux of the flat MHPA can reach 200 W/cm2.

Why is it important?
We used research focusing on new radiant floor heating, with advantages including high efficiency heat transfer, low water supply temperature, simple waterway structure, low resistance and leakage risk, to provide theory and data to support the application of an effective radiant floor heating based on MHPA.
