What is it about?
The core non-classical concept in quantum mechanics is the notion of superposition. This article relates that notion to the notion of abstraction in mathematics. The notions are closely related like a glass half-full and a glass half-empty. Abstraction and superposition represent flip-side viewpoints of the same concept.

Why is it important?
The notion of superposition is the main mystery in QM so relating it to abstraction in math gives a new perspective on it as representing objective indefiniteness rather than the "addition of waves."
