What is it about?
This review covers our understanding of how blood vessels impact growing organs, including the pancreas. Over the last decade, there has been growing understanding that vessels contribute signals to both tissue progenitors as well as differentiated cells beyond basic nutrition and gas exchange. Here, we focus on the pancreas and open questions that remain.
