What is it about?
This manuscripts highlights experimental evidence demonstrating that MSCs are in fact stem cells, and as such argues in favor of retaining the terminology "Mesenchymal Stem Cell" to describe this cell population isolated from bone marrow as opposed to other terms recently proposed, such as "Mesenchymal Stromal Cells or Medicinal Signaling Cells.
