What is it about?
Reprogramming of cancer cells is an innovative model for study of cancer stem cells. Here we report our successful reprogramming of the liver cancer cells into iPSC-like cells, which yielded high tumor-formation in immunocompromised mice.

Why is it important?
The aggressive phenotype of this cancer stem cell-like clone is resulted from upregulation of c-JUN oncogene, which was activated by OCT4 in a positive feedback manner.
