Nutraceuticals are natural compounds . We have shown for the first time some beneficial effects of combined supplemental facts in a small series of male young–old sub-jects affected by sexual disturbances/LUTS.

Why is it important?
Nutraceuticals could play an important double role (therapeutic and antiaging) on genitourinary tissues by asupposed action exerted on multiple etio‐pathogenetic aspects ofsexual performance, mainly at the central component of sexual driveand the peripheral neurotransmitter alteration due to inflammationand/or oxidative damage of the genital tract
Perspectives
The net evidence suggesting a role in thetreatment of sexual dysfunctions and prostate diseases is more lim-ited and needs to be addressed in randomized controlled trials
