What is it about?
The Physical Therapy Competence Assessment for Airway Suctioning (PT-CAAS) is a new assessment tool for physiotherapists who conduct airway suctioning on people. The goal of this study was to determine the PT CAAS's inter and intra-rater reliability.

Why is it important?
Our findings showed that there was evidence of moderate to good inter-rater and intra-rater reliability; however, given the broad confidence intervals (CIs) and rather significant standard error of measurements SEMs, the results should be regarded with care.
