What is it about?
This article introduced a new conceptual model that contributes to existing literature on intragroup conflict. A new model was introduced the includes cognition conflict to the existing tripartite of task, relationship, and process conflict. In addition, this article provides defining characteristics for this new construct and presents how cognition conflict should be incorporated into the intragroup conflict literature. This conceptual review addresses the call to researchers from Song, Dyer, and Thieme (2006) by presenting cognition conflict as a new intragroup conflict construct.
