Why is it important?
Evaluating the use of PLA and NFC in the formation of biocomposite materials, with characteristics of mechanical strength that allow the application in mechanical systems is of industrial and academic interest, since industrial components are subjected to stress efforts, considering the possibility of replacing both polymers of fossil origin and non-renewable matrices commonly used, as well as metallic materials, in advanced engineering applications.
