What is it about?
1)Polylactic acid is used to modify the surface of nano-hydroxyapatite. 2)Numerical simulation methods are used to analyze the fluid changes during the FDM 3D printing process. 3)Adding nano-hydroxyapatite to polylactic acid is beneficial to improve the mechanical properties of composite materials.

Why is it important?
First, the PLA and n-HA were surfaces modified by the KH550 to form a core-shell structure with n-HA in the middle and PLA at the surface. Afterwards, the surface-modified n-HA was coated on the PLA filament, and the optimized parameters were obtained by numerical calculation. Finally, the optimized parameters were used to print the tensile specimen and analyze the mechanical properties. Figure (b) shows the specific operation of n-HA for surface modification.
