What is it about?
In this work, a hexagonal stub along with two rectangular stubs in the ground plane is used for achieving very wide 3 dB ARBW of 75.94% in the antenna. Further, a parasitic strip is incorporated around the CP element in antenna for the introduction of band elimination notches in wide CP band.

Why is it important?
The antenna is a triple circularly polarized antenna radiating at 3.85–4.94, 6.1–8.4 and 9.3–12 GHz. The antenna has a compact size of 20*20 mm compared to other dual band and triple band CP antennas.
