Why is it important?
Conductive polyethylene terephthalate/graphene oxide (PET/GO) nanocomposite scaffolds are fabricated as a blend and core–shell structure using the electrospinning process. Adding GO to PET substrate in a concentration of 0.05 wt% as core–shell structure shows optimized physical, mechanical, and biological characteristics for potential application as a cardiac patch.
