What is it about?

We offered a 2.5 hour positive psychology (aka happiness) workshop to graduate students who were stressed because of their studies and the COVID pandemic. They generally reported reductions in depressive symptoms and that the workshop was helpful.

Graduate students experience high stress and can benefit from coping strategies derived from positive psychology.

Perspectives

Offering a "happiness" workshop is one way we can, as faculty, support our students.
