Perspectives

Personally, I think this may be so far the most important paper from our research group in the city of São João Del-Rei in Brazil. It is a beautiful and well written text (humbly) that very harmonically gathers and fits our own work with previous work in the literature, including very modern studies that experiment with the temporal pattern of electrical stimulation. Perspectives are many and we are already working in these investigation fronts. They include investigation of neural function of animals submitted to temporally coded electrical stimulation, direct measurement of neural synchronization in stimulated animals, effects of temporally coded electrical stimulation on psychiatric disorders, and others.
