-MCI and dementia are prevalent in skilled nursing facilities (SNF), confounding delirium detection -Delirium patients in SNF settings are more than twice as likely to remain in the SNF after 90 days -Better recognition and management of delirium in SNF could reduce resource‐intensive transfers to hospitals
