What is it about?
As the world’s largest primary energy consumer and greenhouse gas emitter, undoubtedly, China has a critical role in global GHG emission mitigation. Till now there are only two GHG inventories of China from national communications on climate change, and rare research focused on building a long-timescale and comprehensive GHG emission inventory covering the notable sources. This paper presents a long-timescale GHG emission inventory estimated with the most recently released official national statistical data, covering main emission sources, most greenhouse gas types, and all national economic sectors.
