What is it about?
This work demonstrates the use of lips from sewage sludge to possibly produce a new biodiesel resource. Besides treating a solid residue from the water treatment, we can spread new options for renewable energy. For this, we catch the sewage sludge, which contains a high percentage of lipids, applying it to change it into biodiesel. Before that, we characterized the main composition from lipids, applying the better way for a transesterification reaction.

Why is it important?
Renewable options for energy sources are important for environmental problems solutions. Additionally, looking for residues treatment, such as reuse, could help to decrease the green gas effect.
