What is it about?
In this paper we intent to introduce new method for measuring the compatibility of dyes. Results shows that using scanner as digital device successfully determine the compatibility of dyes with high accuracy. The importance of this approach is the time consuming, expensive and complicated methods that have been used till now . This simple method includes two steps: first scanning the sample by scanner and then, running the software programmed in MATLAB. The software program designed based on the PCA analysis and image processing. At the end of this procedure, the output is a number value which is a criteria for evaluation of dyes compatibility. This value for the fully compatible mixtures should be very close to 100. In another word, the lower values indicate to the less compatibility of dyes.
