What is it about?
The removal of nitrogen compounds from a feed charge of a fluid catalytic cracking unit.

Why is it important?
For the first time , a heavy hydrocarbon feed charge was treated through an adsorption processes without the use of any kind of solventes in order to dilute it.
Perspectives
The FCC is an old and well know process worldwide.] For the first time , it was used an adsorption processes for removing the nitrogen compounds without diluting the feed charge. The next step is studing this process in a bench scale and the dessorption process. A new frontier was open for the FCC process.
