What is it about?

The effects induced by resveratrol and energy restriction in the improvement of insulin sensitivity in rats fed in an obesogenic diet (high fat and sucrose content) and then switched to a standard dietary pattern. The aim is to study the effectiveness of this treatments in the treatment (not prevention) of glucose homeostasis alteration induced by overfeeding.
