What is it about?
Formation of biaryl compounds via Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling reactions without the use of ligands. This describes developments in Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction, regarding a ligand-free catalysis. The catalysts outlined here enables a cleaner pathways in forming Carbon–Carbon bonds. They enable the synthesis of biaryls by coupling arylboronic acids with aryl halides.
