What is it about?
We found a general class of commercially available molecules that once added to several resins used in 3D printing of microstructures (via direct laser writing) allow to remove the printed parts easily and on-demand. We then used this approach for the preparation of 3D stencil masks and of structures that can be engraved with a laser.

Why is it important?
This might sound stupid, but being able to remove stuff that was just placed there is very important in microfabrication, allowing the preparation of more complex and fragile devices. Also, to the best of out knowledge, we printed the smallest Michelangelo's David out there.
