What is it about?
We tested in our research if the Back At work After Surgery (BAAS) care pathway is feasible to implement as daily care. We also inventoried possible improvements voor the BAAS care pathway, to ensure optimal quality. We found that BAAS is feasible to impelement in daily practice, and found numerous improvements to enhance the quality of BAAS. Next step is to test the BAAS care pathway on effectiveness

Why is it important?
The number of patients suffering from osteoarthritis are rising quickly, and therefore the number of patients who are getting a knee replacement ass well, especially patiënt of working age. Return to work is a unfavourable outcome after surgery. To optimise return to work after surgery we developed BAAS: the first care pathway to combine medical and occupational care after surgery.
