Why is it important?
Our new assessment is used to create a student centered clinical educational experience. It allows for early intervention of students requiring more instruction. It also creates a sliding scale of minimum requirements needed from each student. If competence is not demonstrated within the minimum number of procedures, students will keep working until that competence is achieved.
