What is it about?
In Ethiopia, cervical cancer is the 2nd most prevalent among women of different ages, next to breast cancer. Cervical cancer screening is a very young service in Ethiopia. The uptake of this screening service is impeded by various factors, including the information about the availability of the service. As indicated in this study and evidence from the literature, young age is more beneficiaries of the service as they visit the health institution for other reproductive health services. We made a community-based study to address those women who are not in the reproductive age group but really in the problem and do not easily get the information about screening services.
