What is it about?
This article examines the role of Australian aid in introducing inclusive education initiatives in the Pacific island nation, Kiribati. Through analysis of documents such as the Australian policy document 'Development for all" and through interview data from key stakeholders the article poses the question of dependency on Australian aid as a barrier to local ownership and long term sustainability of these initiatives.
