About my research

My research agenda is centered on the examination of social welfare systems, with particular emphasis on social protection mechanisms, family life and policies, and social inclusion policies within the Global South and MENA regions. This work critically assesses the frameworks and strategies that underpin these systems, evaluating their capacity to integrate vulnerable populations effectively and mitigate socio-economic disparities. Furthermore, I scrutinize crisis policy-making in the MENA region, exploring the institutional adaptability and resilience in response to social and political flux. My research also extends to the institutionalization of evaluative practices in the Global South.
