What is it about?

In this article, we present a new system architecture to test over the air communication of various NFC-enabled devices. The main focus of the interoperability test and debug system is to automate as many measurements and analysis tasks as possible. Additionally, the overall test information gathered by the automated test system is increased.

Why is it important?

Our years of experience of NFC interoperability testing, especially in the field of contactless payment has shown that additional automated measurement methods are required. Faster and more detailed testing will encourage more NFC-enabled device manufacturers to test their new devices against interoperability. More testing will increase user acceptance and strengthen the NFC technology on the global market.
