What is it about?
Traditionally, the considered situation of interaction between two DMs with self-conflicting objectives has been solved using a-priori scalarization techniques, which hinders the performance trade-offs. In contrast, here the objective preferences of the players are considered unknown, which aims to reveal the performance trade-offs to justify the strategy selection. Each strategy is evaluated using a set of performance vectors in this analysis. The selection of a strategy is based on four metrics, where each of them is a scalar quantity that describes a different property of the set of performance vectors that is meaningful to the decision-makers.

Why is it important?
In contrast to the traditional approaches to solving the considered non-cooperative multi-objective game, the proposed solution concept, and the suggested multi-criteria decision-making on a strategy allows the player to account for both her preferences as well as the uncertainties that are associated with the unknown preferences of the other player.
