What is it about?
In our work we addressed the effect of the gaseous carbon dioxide that is applied through the skin on the blood flow in the skin microcirculation.

Why is it important?
It is known that increased concentration of carbon dioxide in blood results in increased blood flow, so the aplication of carbon dioxide through the skin would be highly beneficial in the medical conditions in which blood flow is impaired.
