What is it about?
Mental health care patients are typically unaware of clinicians’ outcome track records when they are trying to find a mental health care provider. This study surveyed and interviewed patients to learn about their attitudes, beliefs, and preferences regarding the use of clinician outcome information in treatment decision making. Overall, patients would value access to clinician outcome information and believe that the use of this information to guide treatment decisions would result in better outcomes.
