What is it about?
There is growing interest in whether cannabis use can assist in solving the opioid crisis. This study followed up a cohort of people with heroin dependence on seven occasions, over 18-20-years. Although cannabis and heroin use were significantly associated at some time-points, there was insufficient evidence to suggest a long-term relationship between the use of these substances.
