What is it about?

Among adults with anorexia nervosa, there is a very high relapse rate In the year following successful restoration of weight to normal via intensive treatment. The current study describes the time course of relapse, finding that the risk of relapse peaks approximately two months following discharge from acute care and then gradually declines. These results indicate the need for intensive treatment during the weeks following discharge.
